000021248 520__ $$2eng$$aThis paper describes a computational model to simulate cross-roll straightening of rods. This model is based on the Lagrangian approach to the description of the continuum. The implementation of the model was performed in the ANSYS software. In the other part of the work results are presented, which are then compared with the fast algorithm for cross-roll straightening based on the Euler approach.
