THE INFLUENCE OF POINT DEFECTS ON THE SPATIAL LOCALIZATION OF NONLINEAR WAVES PROPAGATING IN MATERIALS

Abstract eng:
It has been shown that self-consistent mathematical model, including the equations of elasticity theory and kinetic equations for the densities of various types of point defects, can be reduced to a nonlinear evolutionary equation, combining the well-known equation of wave dynamics, such as the Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers and Klein-Gordon. The exact solutions to the obtained evolutionary equation have been found and analyzed.
