The experimental results showed that the overall performance of the beam-column joints with steel fibers was improved although the amount of steel rebars was reduced. It is found that the removal of certain amount of steel rebars can shorten the construction period, lower the overall construction cost and enhance the durability of the structures which plays an important role in the sustainable design of bridges.
