Methods of increasing the accuracy of the simulation of wind effects based on preliminary statistical analysis of the frequency of occurrence of different wind forces in the directions

Abstract eng:
Improving the accuracy of the simulation of wind effects on buildings and structures is possible through using more sophisticated techniques of preliminary analysis of wind loads meteorological parameters. In this paper, the technique will be refined build wind rose, which contains information on the frequency of winds of different strengths in areas, which is based on the analysis of twodimensional frequency distributions. This methodology will be tested in a study of an airport complex. It is established that refined wind rose in contrast to the classical can save important information about the actual use of objects, resulting in higher accuracy and quality of detail modelling of wind effects on buildings.
