Optimization of dimensions of the valve chamber of the control valves of steam turbine
Abstract eng: The definition of loss factors for the valve chamber and the control valve diffuser is stated. Optimal valve chamber dimensions are looked for to ensure minimal energy loss. Variants of different width and height of the chamber are tested. Various input piping modifications into the chamber are considered.
