000022919 520__ $$2eng$$aDust pneumatic conveying systems are exposed to gradual erosive wear. The paper presents models allowing to assess erosive wear for material pair, steel - coal dust. These models were subjected to parametric tests and the results of calculations were compared with the results of erosive wear tests for a similar pair of materials. Both the results of parametric tests and comparisons with empirical data showed a significant spread of the predicted erosion rate.
