The result was a “game”, in which visitors are encouraged to involve themselves in a mystery story centred around a foiled attempt to assassinate the castle’s builder, Sir Edward Dallingridge. The evolution of the project is discussed, along with possible implications for sustainability, both at this particular site and further afield.
