The company Xella Slovakia, one of the leaders on the market with building walling materials, cooperates with SvF STU regurarly. Before initiation new brand name SILKA on the slovak market was needed confirm the complete assortment in term of soundproofing attributes. Seeing that standards relating acoustics of building constructions wasn´t united in EU and every country has it´s own specific regulations, it wasn´t able simply take over the results of measuration from other countries where is SILKA in use. After good know-how from measuration of cosntructions YTONG the company Xella again apllied to STU, The faculty of Civil engineering, Department of Building Structures. The responsible solutionist all of these carried measurations is Prof. Ing. Jozef Zajac, DrSc.
