Abstract eng: Pointing out the main reasons for defects in roofs on the basic of years of monitoring and evaluation. Adverse moisture content of a roof construction jeopardizes the function of a roof construction. Unequal spreading of moisture in the structure of a roof construction. Reasons for adverse moisture content. Requirements for a roof design. Absorbability of materials and values of measured weight moisture content of materials incorporated in the roof constructions.
