Abstract eng: This paper aims to highlight the differences of various façade systems frequently used today. The façade systems can be classified as contact, closed cavity or ventilated systems according to on site application and assembly. The advantages and/or disadvantages consist in the complexity of detailing work, architectural appearance, rate of application and overall costs.
