Vlastnosti směsí studené recyklace optimalizovaných odprašky

Cold recycling techniques continue to become standard technology used for Czech roads rehabilitation, which has been presented during the last years in several papers including practical and scientific experience. Generally the binder combination of bitumen emulsion and cement or bitumen foam and cement is applied. On the other hand the industry of aggregate production is at the moment increasingly confronted with the issue of waste production. One of such by-products might be waste filler – fine particles gained during washing and cleaning of crushed aggregates. As part of an ongoing research this material has been used in cold recycling mixes together with standard reclaimed asphalt (RAP). Results demonstrated on selected characteristics of cold recycling mix will be discussed in the paper. Cold recycling mixes with both above mentioned binder systems were experimentally assessed. The waste filler has been used as substitution of RAP as well as an alternative for cement. Especially in the second case important results have been reached improving the mix performance and reducing the content of valuable cement in the mix.
