Evaluation of Road’s Pavement Resistance of Traffic-Load KR4 of Category in Application of the Elastic-Plastic Model with Degradation

Abstract eng:
Road’s pavement construction resistance is the ability of failure-free working and taking the thrust of traffic load during the specific period of time. The profiles of roads, which traffic load intensity meets requirements of belonging to traffic-load KR4 of category, the model of elasticity with degradation has been applied for evaluation of road’s pavement construction resistance. This method is completely different form the methods of designing, in which modulus of elasticity is used for designing the base courses of road’s pavement construction. It’s among other an attempt of more efficient evaluation of horizontal deformations’ influences on the degradation of stiffness properties of base courses, where each course has different thickness, during seasons changing – winter and summer.
