Inžinierskogeologický prieskum zosuvov v trase projektovanej diaľnice D-1 v úseku Fričovce - Svinia

Abstract eng:
The presented article describes results of the slope stability investigation which was performed as a part of a detail engineering geological investigation within the framework of preparation works for construction of the highway D1 in the eastern Slovakia. Three areas with potential slope instability were identified and described. Each of them is in Paleogene flysch sediments covered with Quaternary deluvial sediments. Geological settings and depth of the rapture surface was identified with help of boreholes, trial pit and geophysical resistant profiles. The underground water regime is monitored by observation wells. No activity of the slope deformations was observed during the investigation by the monitoring boreholes equipped with inclinometers.
