Abstract eng: The paper deals with an example of the foundation of circular steel tank situated on compressible subsiol, created by clay soils with soft and stiff consistency. Due to relatively high loads and requierment of smal differential settlement, was necessary to prepare the design step-by-step using reinforcement of subsoil.
