Vyztužování spojů dřevěných konstrukcí

Abstract eng:
Fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) are widely used for strengthening structural components. However, the reinforcement has minor effect in the principal-stress direction of wood. Therefore this study focuses on perpendicular-to-grain direction of FRP composites in the connection area. The increase of mechanical properties (e.g. slip modulus, load bearing capacity and ductility ratio) also negatively influences the final price, embodied energy and emissions of connection. Our aim is to analyze reinforced connections with respect to the most important parameters.
