Design, Static Analysis of Temporary Steel Structures, Used for Strengthening of Ventilation Shaft for Metro, Sofia


Abstract eng:
In this paper the authors present the conception design, static analysis and technology of construction of the temporary steel structures used for strengthening of deep excavation for ventilation shaft of metro in Sofia. The excavation is supported by R.C. piles, which are additionally supported to keep vertical position by steel frames .The temporary steel construction are analysed as a frame structure using methods of finite elements (FEM).
