Vliv imperfekcí na vzpěrnou pevnost tlačených ocelobetonových prutů z vysokopevnostních materiálů


Abstract eng:
This paper deals with imperfections and their effect on compressed composite columns with use high strength materials. The high strength materials in columns under compression with buckling seems to be disadvantageous because Young´s modulus of elasticity keeps unchanged as well as critical force is also constant while rising strength of steel. The steel utilization is lower because tension in extreme fibres does not reach yield limit. If geometric imperfection is considered, we don't get problem of stability according Euler, but analysis of strength or carrying - capacity. Effect of imperfection on compressed composite columns made from high strength materials is processed in parametric studies and compared with directive and standards.
