000002786 520__ $$2eng$$aThe importance of cooperation between designers and ecologists in the planning process of the new water structures and reconstruction of the old ones is nowadays increasing. Therefore it is necessary to know in advance some water structure impacts to the environment, in which they are situated. By means of simulations via 2-D model it is possible to compute velocity field of the modeled area for various discharges as well as for various object dispositions. According to computed results it can be with some probability determined, in which areas is a chance for sedimentation in reservoir and where are suitable or impropriate conditions for ichthyofauna life.
