Na hraniciach geodézie a meteorológie

Abstract eng:
On the boards of Geodesy and Meteorology. Geodesy needs meteorological measurements as a base of corrections for different types of geodetic measurements. The paper describes influence of meteorological parameters such as pressure, temperature and wind on measured lengths, angles, leveling, gravimetric and astronomic observations. Today geodesy can contributes to numerical weather prediction – NWP, which is well known product of meteorology. Processing permanent GNSS observations produces information on Zenith Tropospheric Delay – ZTD suitable as data source for NWP. Knowledge of ZTD in combination with known ground pressure and temperature leads to computing Precipitable Water Vapour – PWV over given permanent GNSS station.
