Tematické mapy pre potreby ochrany pred povodňami
Abstract eng: Catastrophic floods demonstrated water destructive in last years and pointed out the actual problems focused on flood prevention. Geographic Information System (GIS) is an effective and efficient tool for flood simulation and modeling studies. Different kinds of spatial analyses with heterogeneous data enable creation of thematic maps of flood jeopardy and risk. Thematic maps created in the GIS frame depict potential adverse flood effects and can be used for planning of prevention flood measures, for operational crises management etc.
