A Note on Star Product Arising from Cycles
Abstract eng: Bermond, Delorme and Farhi (1984) introduced the concept of a star product of two graphs and, in connection with degree diameter problem, investigated the diameter of a star product of the complete graph of order 2 with a cycle of length 2a2 + 2a + 1. In this note we extend the diameter analysis to cycles of arbitrary length and show that all such star products are isomorphic to the generalized Petersen graphs.
