The Building Master must Understand the Perspective - Thesis of J. J. Schubler (1689-1741)
Abstract eng: The author of the well-known baroque treaty “Perspectiva pes picturae”, published in 1719-20 in Norymberg, prasents a thesis, which may raise doubts nowadays, or even the building workers representatives' objections. The thesis reads “The building master must understand the perspective”. The Schubler's views were widely presented in the paper, which justify his thesis.
