Bilingualism means the ability of using two languages or varieties of languages. The language usage of bilingually speaking people differs from the usage of those of monolingually speaking, as it is characterized by altering codes and contact phenomena. The main intention of my research is the language usage of a bilingual Slovak – Hungarian respondet, who has learnt Hungarian as a second language in order to use it in everyday communication whilst I have been concentraiting on the phenomena of disfluence, which in his communication occur, on varying codes and contact phenomena.
