On physics of a synthetic jet
Abstract eng: Velocity field of a synthetic jet has been investigated experimentally. The synthetic jet is generated by electro-dynamical system designed for control of free shear layer. To catch unsteady periodical structures the phase average method is applied to time series of instantaneous velocities.
