000003639 520__ $$2eng$$aAn example of dynamic analysis of a new reinforced concrete structure, loaded with a terrorist charge explosion of 90 kg TNT located in a car in the distance of 18.3 m from the threatened structure, was used to apply the principles of simplified engineering analysis of an explosion-loaded structure based on time courses of calculated internal forces and displacements of individual structure elements. The criteria of structural elements failure due to explosion load effects were determined as a part of the dynamic structure response assessment.
