BRANCH AND BOUND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZATION OF CABLE-TRUSS STRUCTURES


Abstract eng:
This contribution introduces a new formulation of a classical Branch and Bound method to find global optima of truss sizing optimization problems enhanced with cables. Our paper shows that the problem is solvable as a binary version of the mixed integer programming problem. The text presents the derivation and the implementation details.
