The fundamental principles of EHA/EMA actuators are given and their implementation into distributed control system is proposed. An essential part of any actuator is a BLDC motor, which considerably influences reliability and performance of the actuator. Thus many efforts during the development have been spent on electronics and control algorithms design and verification. EHA/EMA actuator basic, the architecture of a smart distributes actuation control system and modeling of the BLDC motor that drives the actuator are described in this paper.
