000003805 520__ $$2eng$$aThe paper deals with the motion modelling of a material bogie of a railway vehicle. The aim of this contribution is the bogie motion analysis with consideration of creep force effects. The contact between the wheel sets and the railway is solved as a contact of two conical surfaces with two lines. The bogie suspension system is modeled by nonlinear suspension elements which are connected to the railway and the vehicle case. The railway and vehicle case is considered with no degrees of freedom. The comparison of the bogie motion without and with secondary suspension in the vehicle case is made. The solution is made for motion on the straight railway and constant forward velocity. The mathematical model of the railway vehicle bogie is created and the numerical solution of this mathematical model is made by own developed software which allows to simulate a bogie motion in dependence on initial values.
