000004086 520__ $$2eng$$aA re-analysis of the 1st to 4th reactor units’ internal parts at nuclear power plant Kozloduy, Bulgaria, was carried out at ŠKODA JS a.s. in 2003. The reactors are of WWER 440 type, model V213. The scope of the analysis was to verify their strength and remaining life in the light of the current standards. Dynamical calculations for emergency working conditions were part of this analysis. Namely the seismic calculations and the analysis of accidental rupture in the primary circuit pipeline were the points in question. This contribution presents the calculations of the internals resistance to excitation given by response spectra for the safe shutdown earthquake (SSE). Calculation models are described and the essential results are published including their assessment according to the appropriate standards.
