000004095 520__ $$2eng$$aOne of the possibility, how to reduce amplitude of transversal vibration of rotors is to put together their rotating and no-rotating part by the squeeze film damper. This system add to vibrating shaft added effect, namely added mass and added damping. And they must be included to the solution of the rotor system. In this contribution are this effects determined through a new access, which is based on Navier-Stoke´s equation. Using suitable substitution is possible to solve moving of the rigid body and the liquid separately. Added effect are included to the solution of the model rotor system.
