Modelling of structures with moving loads

Abstract eng:
Moving loads are characteristic for railway and road bridges. Dynamic analysis is as a rule based in this case on a beam model loaded by moving forces of magnitude, which is constant, changing with time harmonically or randomly. If a structure is modelled by a system of finite elements, its stiffness and mass matrices ought to by variable. Modelling of two structural problems is considered. The rail and rolling vehicle interaction and the response of a pipeline entered by a stream of fluid due to the weight and centrifugal forces of the stream. Modelling and response analysis are based on the SYSTUS programme
