000004107 520__ $$2eng$$aThis text describes the utilization of the new principle (called floating) in the machine tools construction. In the conventional driven axis there is also reaction force generated during acceleration. This reaction is catched by the machine frame. The utilization of the floating principle allows (in the axis of application) elimination of this force impulse and moreover increasing relative acceleration of the mass. In the result we have an axis with smooth running and higher value of possible acceleration.
