The main attributes of sensor networks includes ad hoc deployment, unattended and untethered operation, low energy consumption and dynamic configuration all of which are imperative to tasks to be performed in an unknown, infrastructureless, and severe environment. A typical sensor networks system is composed of a large number of sensor nodes that are densely deployed and supported by an adaptive operation system. These sensor nodes can operate in a static or mobile mode as needed. Once successfully implemented, the system is able to offer valuable and critical data that will improve our knowledge and understanding on wind flow, structure reaction and debris formation
