Uncertainty in Hurricane Winds
Abstract eng: This paper will describe the current state of the art in measuring and analyzing surface winds in tropical cyclones. Observing platforms and strategies will be reviewed, along with their advantages and limitations, and Hurricane Andrew will be revisited in light of new capabilities and findings.
