Iterated solution process is applied and based on equations established at a series of cross sections of a reinforced concrete column by combining force equilibrium, constitutive law, and compatibility conditions. This paper proposes a computerized method for time and strain adjustment. With this method, named as the Time and Strain Adjustment of Creep Method, combining a creep calculation model for a constant elastic strain, such as ACI 209R-92 or CEB-FIP 1990 Model Code, the creep strain at each cross section can be calculated, stored and adjusted to age of concrete, time of loading, and change of concrete compressive strain during each increment phase of time. The presented rational computer analysis results have been compared with existing bi-axial and uni-axial experimental data. It is indicated that the results from the proposed analysis correlate with experimental data well.
