Higher pollutant retention value is obtained in narrow streets of aspect ratio larger than 1. It is also found that canopies of different heights have a higher pollutant retention value than that of identical height. In addition canyon of height over width ratio of 1 displays a minimum pollutant retention value and that the building width serves to retard the flow, associates with the progressive increment of retention value.
