DAMAGE MODELING OF SATURATED ROCKS IN DRAINED AND UNDRAINED CONDITIONS


Abstract eng:
We present a new macroscopic modeling of induced anisotropic damage in saturated brittle rocks. The formulation of model attempts to involve some relevant results from micro-mechanical analysis. All the model's parameters can be identified from experimental tests without change of pore pressure (or dry material). Material responses in drained and undrained conditions are investigated.
