IDENTIFICATION OF FACTORS OF INSTABILITIES AND THEIR INTEGRATION IN A MODEL OF RUPTURE : AN METHOD OF EVALUATION OF SAFETY COEFFICIENT

Abstract eng:
In the study of natural slopes stability or road embankments, the evaluation of the safety coefficient (Fs) depends on several parameters including the water height in the solid mass. The northern area of Morocco, characterized by frequent ground movements, must receive a new road link of paramount importance. The hydrogeologic characteristic variations between the upstream and downstream zones were introduced into the evaluation of the safety coefficient using specific flow equations. The results obtained make it possible to follow up the Fs evolution on the space-time level and to predict possible risks.
