ANGLE-PLY PIEZOELECTRIC COMPOSITE LAMINATES BY BEM


Abstract eng:
An efficient boundary element solution is used to analyze the electromechanical response in angle-ply piezoelectric composite laminates, which are a primary concern in the field of smart structures. Representative results are presented for different loading conditions to show the fundamental behavior of piezoelectric composite laminates focusing on the effects of the electromechanical coupling on the boundary layer features.
