000004928 520__ $$2eng$$aThis manuscript describes the validation of the sediment transport sub-model of the Lake Okeechobee Environmental Model (LOEM). This sub-model simulates the sediment resuspension and transport due to wind driven currents and waves. The LOEM was run for one year, from 10/1/1999 to 9/30/2000. The model reasonably simulated suspended sediment concentrations for this period.
