Structural analysis of stiffened plate is performed based on grillage model assumptions. The principle of minimum potential energy is applied. A program code is developed to use this method and the reliability and probabilistic analyses are carried out using the computer program CALREL. The developed program of the proposed method is verified and comparisons are made with finite element method.
