APROXIMACE PRŮBĚHU FAKTORU INTERMITENCE PŘI ZKRÁCENÉM PŘECHODU MEZNÍ VRSTVY DO TURBULENCE

Abstrakt: The distribution of the intermittency factor r is discussed in the case of boundary layer by-pass transition. Taking into consideration the turbulent outer stream flow, the approximation of Narasimha [l] is modified for the intermittency distributions which does not start from zero value near the location of the origin of the transition region. Both the original approximation ofNarasimha and the modified one are correlated with experiment.
