MODELOVÁNÍ ÚČINNOSTI PROTIHLUKOVÝCH SILNIČNÍCH BARIÉR METODOU HRANIČNÍCH PRVKŮ

Abstract cze:
Abstrakt: The primary mechanism for traffic noise reduction in existing highways is trough the use of noise barriers. The most of present used methods calculating noise barriers efficiency are based on approximate analytical calculations developed by use of the geometrical theory of diffraction. In these methods is difficult involve influence of diffracted and reflected sound waves, use complicated geometrical configuration, absorbent materials etc. For this reason is often not possible to get correct results. The main purpose of this article is to show possibilities of numerical modelling by Boundary Element Method (BEM) for calculating the sound pressure around noise barriers of arbitrary geometry involving complicated barrier geometry and absorbent materials.
