000000940 520__ $$2cze$$aAbstrakt: Commutator is an important part of direct-current electromotor, the function of which is to swith single windigs of its rotor. Presented paper is focused on improvement of mechanical properties of commutator by searching for better shape of its lamella. We collaborate with Komutex, s. r. 0., and our common research is part of more complex project including materials and techology of production. It is supported by grant of Ministry of industry and bussiness of Czech Repuplic. Methodology of automated finite elemet sensitivity study of lamella cross sestion shape was partial target of our research. Our solution is based on idea, that various shapes may be compared using simplified planar (2D) model of lamella and commutator body. Developped methodology requires parametric geometry of lamella cross section. Large number of FE tasks are to be solved for various combinations of dimensions. The results are there filtered using own software.
