EVALUATION OF DUCTILE FRACTURE CRITERIA IN METAL FORMING PROCESSES

Abstrakt: The presented paper deals with procedure created for quality and reliability evaluation of ductile fracture criteria group. The base for criteria verification is comparison of upsetting experimental results and results of upsetting numerical simulations. Ductile fracture prediction using numerical simulation results is compared with experimentally measured ductile fracture. This comparison is also used for evaluation of independence of ductile fracture criteria on stress-strain conditions during different forming processes. There are briefly described upsetting experiments and numerical simulation model created in FEM system ANSYS. Partial results are presented for some ductile fracture criteria.
