Especially for subsystems with complex geometry and material may be desirable to use experimental or numerical methods to identifY their parameters. In this paper is Finite Element Method (FEM) used for determination of modal density and FEM in combination with Power injection method for evalation of coupling loss factor. Methodology is illustrated on several examples.
