000009494 520__ $$2eng$$aThe present work addresses the synthesis of the research on tank lifelines that as been successfully addressed at FEUP School of Engineering of the University of Porto. Some actual regulatory design provisions for anchored tanks are compared in dimensionless graphs of design quantities (basal shear, basal moments) evaluated using American Petroleum Institute API 650, Indian Standard IS 1893 and Eurocode EC8.
