The basis of the method is grounded on solving the wave equations in the complex plane and frequency domain. Solution of the partial differential equations is found in series of the Hankel functions with unknown coefficients. Applying appropriate boundary conditions of the problem, a set of algebraic equations are achieved. Solving these equations, the unknown coefficients and consequently all desirable parameters such as stress, strain and displacement are calculated. Numerical results including stress and displacement fields in vicinity of the cylinder subjected to the harmonic waves are presented. Also the effects of important cross-anisotropic parameters are mentioned.
