Design and optimization of external plastic panels of vehicles
Abstract eng: The aim of the paper is the presentation of our own complex approach to the design, construction and optimisation of external plastic panels of vehicles. As an example there are given results of a pre-development project, within which a plastic fender for a passenger car has been developed, fabricated and in cooperation with other companies tested in Peguform Bohemia, k.s. The contribution of the project is, among others, the presentation of data concerning feasibility of the suggested solution from the technological point of view, its high industrial level and its economical justifiability.
