Analysis of the compressible viscous fluid flow through the gap caused by the incorrect contact of screw surfaces
Abstract eng: The paper deals with the analysis of the correct and incorrect contact of the two-dimensional manifolds represented by screw surfaces which form a higher kinematic pair and which were created in the direct envelope way according to the Distelli theorem. The incorrect contact of surfaces is caused, in this paper, by a large parallel displacement of the axis of one of the surfaces. The computational model of a gap caused by the incorrect contact of screw surfaces was created. The aim of this paper is to perform a numerical simulation of the compressible viscous fluid flow through this gap.
